Launch of EKT project results at Final Conference

The European project Educational Knowledge Transfer (EKT) is now facing its last implementation stage with the celebration of the final conference to be held on 13 April 2023 in the auditorium of the Faculty of Education of the University of Santiago de Compostela.

In this project of the strategic Erasmus+ action line “Alliance of Knowledge for Higher Education”, coordinated by the USC Educational Technology Group, eleven academic and technological partners from six European countries participate. They have taken on the challenge to develop a new educational methodology with the support of an intelligent online platform focused on collaboration and reflection as essential tools for the initial training of teachers during in-school placements. This smart technological system incorporates different free software tools in the same training environment, making them interoperable to facilitate effective collaborating, communicating and monitoring of future teachers and their academic and school mentors throughout of the whole placement process.

The final conference, entitled “Smart Technologies for innovation in teacher training” will bring together experts, researchers and heads of teacher training from five European countries as well as technology service companies. In the forum the results of the project will be presented, including products such as the EKT smart technological system, the EKT educational methodology, as well as research results that demonstrate its success. In addition, within the framework of the conference, diplomas will be awarded to the participants in the EKT experimentation, student teachers, academic and school mentors.

Participation in the event will be possible both presential at the Faculty of CC. Education of the University of Santiago de Compostela and virtual.
