Second piloting cycle of the EKT system in Spain has come to an end

On Friday 24 February 2023, a focus group meeting of the EKT project was held at the Faculty of Education Sciences of Universidad de Santiago de Compostela.  Participants were a group of teachers in pre-school, primary and secondary education with experience as school mentors during placements of future teachers, teachers supervising placements, researchers from the Educational Technology Research Group of USC and technicians from CESGA, responsible for the implementation of the technological development.

In this activity, moderated by the Principal Researcher of the project, Carmen Fernández Morante, participants  had the opportunity to share experiences related to the in-school placements of future teachers, to present and discuss some of the results obtained in a study carried out with academic and school mentors and to give feedback on the evolution of the EKT methodology and technology.

At the end of the meeting, all attendees were invited to the Final Conference of the EKT project, which will be held on 13 April 2023 at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the Vida Campus in Santiago de Compostela.

With this focus group meeting the second cycle of the EKT system piloting has been closed.
